Sharing Folder via Home Networking

Guess nowaday many of us had few PC at home that is connected to the router. But I guess many of us do not know how to share folder between their pc to ease the problem of using thumb drive or external hard disk to transfer files. Many of the website offer solution which in some cases doesn’t work at all. If you happen to be one of them, then this 2 solution might suggest some solution to your problem.

First of all, try to download this tool from the Microsoft Support Sites —–> http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=4544

After installing it, Go to Start, All Programs, Windows Resource Kit Tools, Command Shell.

Then enter the following commands. (Notes: Pls take note that these are case sensitive)

net user guest /active:yes
ntrights +r SeNetworkLogonRight -u Guest
ntrights -r SeDenyNetworkLogonRight -u Guest

Each of the command entered above will trigger a succesful prompt. If not, you are missing the letter/space. Try again dudes!
And sometime this still won’t work for some of us. The last solution I can offer will be to look for the following in your register edit.

HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa and set the "restrictanonymous" to 0 if now stated as 1.

I hope this will help to created a better world of IT.
